I like mine.
Being nitpicky, but couple things I don't like, just like the old model, is how slow it is to go from one range to another. The wait for the system to "reset" is super annoying. Second would be I miss the old etched rect. I felt it way more accurate actually hitting plates instead of just aiming at target base like I feel I have to do with the new large aiming ring. Last would be the size. Its on the larger size for a monocular, given it does a lot, I really liked the size of the old one and was disappointed it is larger. Not a deal breaker and not heavy, just on the big side.
Guess I could read the book, but is there anyway to just range as fast as you can hit the button?
Primary reason being, on field courses under time constraints its a time sink waiting for the reset going from target to target.
Other than that, the 8x is a plus and it ranges anything I point it at. The glass is surprisingly good as well. Compared to the old one (as mentioned in vid), it has way way more features (adjusted range for angle and bluetooth for instance) and slightly less range (not enough to effect my shooting) and is a bit larger. THat being said I rate it highly for sure. And above the old one if they were both sitting there with equal warranty.
