I am currently doing research on working up custom loads for my 6.5 CM. I am really diggin' Panhandle Precision's stuff, but that's another topic. In another video, the author mentioned that he had his "Velocity Anode" and was going to work from that point. It appears to be an anomalous drop in FPS during the work up in the development of a cartridge. Can someone point me in the proper direction as far as researching this? I tried googling it, but nothing.

At least give them a read for a varied perspective.

The first (OCW) is a great approach and Dan’s explanation is excellent. Most importantly it doesn’t require a chronograph.

The more traditional ladder approach is a little more involved because it really should be done at 300yds or more.
