Younger than me. Born in 1962 and started school in 1968, so ... according to nieces, nephews and a great nephew, I am probably vintageDoes this count as vintage?
Great composition and photography. I enjoy photographing all my stuff.
Post-it in the for sale section. Guaranteed it will go to someone who appreciates it.An incomplete mockup. The rifle was evidently D&T for the EGW base with 8x40 screws, which are too short for this base and I don't have any spares lying around. (Also can't figure out where the buttplate screws went.) All my 1903 stuff is going on consigment eventually but I figured it would be best to complete it first.

Haven't made up my mind about getting the upgrade but I'm not big on shipping rifles these days.Post-it in the for sale section. Guaranteed it will go to someone who appreciates it.

Very coolNot something what I would actually call vintage, but doesn't really fit in with the PRS rigs either. Sniper in the sense that the model was used by the Australian SAS chambered in 22-250. A Tikka M55 Sporter in 308 from c.1981. Produced between 1968-1989 IIRC and roughly from 1979 with the pictured stock. Don't have a proper 80's scope for it at the moment, so a 90's Vari-x Tactical 3,5-10 will do.

Interesting! That's good to know, since I dont remember a mention of Norwegian users in the literature I've browsed. The Tikka M55 sporter in 22-250 was also used by the Norwegian special forces.
Love the texturing done on the wood.
It's something gritty that's applied with lacquer. It's called sawdust texturing, but don't know if it's actually sawdust.Stippling.
Thank you. Good twenty years since I last held one of these rifles.Interesting! That's good to know, since I dont remember a mention of Norwegian users in the literature I've browsed.
