Rifle Scopes VIPER PST CAT TAIL

WHY the hell are the cat tails so expensive ( $60.00) ????? I was thinking $25.00 or so . I know I'm a cheap SOB ,but $60.00 seams a bit steep to me . Anyone know a sorce for less ?

For the metal ones look at Hell's Canyon Armory. I picked one up for ~$60 with shipping. another option is the Breakaway zip ties:

Why are the zip ties a no go? I use them on several scopes and know many other people around here do as well. They are very solid.

If you don't want the $17 zip tie that works fairly well, then don't bitch about the $60 one that works really well. Beggars can't be choosers.

I see ,that looks like it would work out fine . I thought they were just large zip ties.
