Virginia to criminalize weapons training

They were also the ones to step on that guys head and kill him. While he was outnumbered...... poor bastard. I was ok with living in the "whitest state"; ok with diversity too; but not when it jeopardizes the people's safety though

Virginia, with the exception of a few very populate areas, which cost us, is a wonderful place to live. A perfect example of why the electoral college is necessary. See below. What surprises me is that the Tidewater (the area to the far right on the map), which is home to the largest group of military, including the largest naval port in the nation/world, is so red.

View attachment 7192021

It doesnt show on the map but :

Green= Already Sanctuary
Yellow= Voting soon
Orange = Progress
Red= No action

Thats because the FSA is so large down there.

Looks like this "unlawful paramilitary activity" has been on the books in VA since 1987

So according to this, martial arts and self defense training will be illegal? Lifting weights to get stronger?

I know it's a stretch, but recent liberal interpretations of common sense makes me nervous.

The word "intent" and the phrase "civil disorder" are mentioned all throughout the proposed bill. TBH, it reads like it was written by a middle-schooler.

Intent is a funny thing, is hard to prove and often very subjective.

This is a isolation tactic to keep 2Aers from joining together. To keep already disjointed supporters apart. After all, you dont know if Jimmy from the range has been spouting off all over the place, giving the boots all they need to establish "intent" of "civil disorder".

I think there is concern that the 2A community is starting to step from the shadows and are getting over the fear of being personally identified. 2Aers and supporters are a fickle bunch, often private and skeptical of newcomers ect.

It appears to me that there is a recent shift (urgency of the times) that 2Aers are coming out of the shadows, stepping into the light...albeit reluctantly.

This bill is to temper or at least an attempt to make us even more skeptical or cautious when interacting with fellow supporters.

Please don't curse Pa. . We have alot of gamelands and good shooting . Strong 3 Gun , Steel Challenge , some CMP , NRA High Power and a few longe range ranges .
Three cities shit on the rest of the State and we are not even near giving up shit . There is a fair amount of mountanous and rural area where very solid Americans live .
I say the same to those who curse me for being in commifornia. Plenty of constitutionalists here in the people’s republic of commifornia, we are just drowned out by the illegals, and dumbasses in needle and shit filled LA and san fran

Everyone is saying shit like, oh we'll just vote it out in four years. Probably not yall, how many gun laws that you know of have been taken OFF the books? I can think of one federal law which expired, that's pretty much it. In my mind this is mostly a "gun law" since it's anti-2A by nature, but it is also an infringement upon the First Amendment.

So.. If there was A BOOK that gives advises with SHOOTING.. Would it be burned?
When will I see a picture of libs burning piles of books? I just want to say, I knew it all along!

This shall begin a new chapter in USA, at least how I look at the world.

PS.
Have you noticed that you have an amendment that secures you your right to keep and bear arms?
Is this just your own arms or does it count guns too? Have you notified your representatives of this right?

...but it is also an infringement upon the First Amendment.

Sort of.

By its nature 1A does cover the right to peacefully assemble. But the SC has also ruled that govt can enforce permit requirements etc. And of course 1A doesnt cover riots etc, where the reason for the assembly is "destructive" in nature.

So we are in a way...back to vagueness of "intent".

One of the factors I mentioned earlier was that 2Aers (by way of urgency) are becoming more forward. I mean, look at the brazen tactics of Antifa. Whose sole purpose is to intimidate and create civil disorder. 2Aers see these antics go completely unchecked and encouraged by media / leftist supporters.

What leftists REALLY do not want is constitutionalists and by proxy 2Aers following suit in masse. That would be ugly, very ugly.

Keep 2Aers and supporters from truly being organized in masse by making them skeptical of each other and on a perpetual defensive position. For fear of losing the rights is greater than defending the rights.

Another interesting aspect is the bill is specifically references firearms. Not just general assembly to intimidate or create disorder - aka Antifa.

So Antifa is tearing shit up, and a group of 2Aers show up to try to display support for law and order...who gets the boot?

I'm not even afraid of the rampant fed gov, I just don't want my entire county disarmed and neutered to the point where crime and dickheads run around without fear of repercussions. I don't want to shoot anyone, but self defense is a pillar of a healthy community for so many different good/correct reasons. Yet all of them involve the anticipation that you may have to exercise harm against another person or party. The law has existed, this seems to just tie all cases together— namely armed demonstration/protest.

They want the state to have a monopoly on weapons proficiency, that's what this is all about. The VGA will be our next stop after the county level with all this bullshit. Sadly, there's so much impending unconstitutional law that I doubt we will ever see our rights as they now stand ever again under even the most optimistic outcomes.

I would say a high percentage of people are there with you.

Keep in mind it says nothing about training in general. It specifically mentions traning with intent and civil disorder.

Plus, aint no one disarming the inner cities without a gestapo like boot stomping. Just will not happen.

I think that them just changing the law slightly will popularize its enforcement when it comes to ways to apprehend lawful gun owners per their overarching agenda of disarming everyone. In reality crooks will be the only ones with guns, it has been proven so many times before that to make the same mistakes here in VA is lunacy. That's the democrat agenda in my mind, it's clear as day that they will be literally coming for our guns and need every acute little gun law to justify violence as an inevitability. It's totally fucking crazy, this is in suit with a broader change in enforcement I think. The fact they are fucking with the wording is bothersome at all, it's like they are ordering their cards.

Agree. I mean who would be against a law that makes it criminal for people with firearms to gather and train with the intent of creating civil disorder?

Who would be against people with firearms gathering with the intent of intimidating others?

Not many.

But this is just what is evident on the surface The underlying sublety is more reason for concern IMO.

Divide and conquer.

I'm a born and raised California boy and was a cop there for 10.5 years.

You Virginia people are more fucked than we CA people are. We have retarded gun laws and all that jazz, but this paramilitary law shit makes CA look pretty good.
You think the traitors in the commifornian govnt arnt licking their chops at passing this? Youre naive if you think not. Dont poke, we should be standing with them against this multi-tier treason.

Republican VA is at fault for a lot of it. They have a tradition of passing heavy handed legislation in general "just in case", and then applying it under discretion so that nobody really wakes up to it. The Dems are fixing to abuse all this bullshit and make it front page politics for the entire country.

No matter where than would happen, the people of that A/O would quickly be taught what was once for export only. They would also have at their disposable past exporters to make sure their OJT training was done properly, until they graduated an became self thinkers/do'ers.
Make no mistake, it's a 442 mission after that,...

Virginians should team up again with French Troops again it worked quite well before in the Battle of Yorktown. Lets face it the Democrats are against the Constitution and have proven that they will take your rights away once in power. I say lets start shipping in the people of Hong Kong there all ready carrying our Flag and they know how to protest against injustices. They could also help us with curing our apathetic ways towards protecting our rights under the Constitution.

Either fight this shit or hand your stuff in. It’s that simple. You have to make a decision. Sure you can move but you are only prolonging the inevitable. At least if you ALL moved at once it might send a message but they probably don’t give a shit cause they got enough illegals pouring in to replace you. I’m telling you all like I’ve been saying for I don’t know how long, this stuff is by design. If you don’t fight it, you are going to run out of places to run to. How many free states are left?? Think about it, don’t list them. Now think about that number 5 years from now. I think you’d be surprised. Hell Texas is about to go down and I never thought I’d see that.

The west coast is pretty much wrapped up and now they moving in on both sides. If we don’t fight this our days are numbered and I don’t know about y’all but I ain’t turning in shit. Got way too much money wrapped up to turn in shit on top of just NO I have a right to what I have a right to. It’s my God given rights and fuck the gov if they want to try and take it away. Clearly they don’t understand the law well enough to be the lawyers that many of them are or they’d understand the difference between rights bestowed by God and the rights ALLOWED by gov. The Constitution many of them would wipe their ass with is pretty freaking simple and clear. So either amend that shit, which they know they can’t do, hence their current strategy, or move the fuck on. If you want to live in some shithole then move to one as there are plenty across the globe. The Constitution of this country has been largely the reason of its successes. I have no idea why anyone would want to piss on that and throw it away. Go be a shit head somewhere else and leave our awesome country alone.

P.S. You guys are thinking too small with that sanctuary county crap. You need to think larger. Like we need sanctuary states, not counties!

I've been involved pretty heavily in Virginia politics for about 13 years. We got our asses handed to us in the election this year. And, the new laws coming down the pipe are atrocious.

We'll be MD/CA or worse in just a year or two I'm afraid....

Then you know we got our asses handed to us because the Republican leadership in VA absolutely sucks. How the F can you not have a Republican on 40% of the ballets and think you'll win the state? In Henrico County, for one seat, I had one person listed and there was a (D) next to his name. He's now my 2020 representative. Go figure. The people who thought it was okay to NOT have (R)'s in 40% of the races should be fired. This isn't a new trend. For the last two big election cycles, the national Republican party hasn't liked the VA candidates and have sat on the sidelines as we got out asses kicked. Northam is in office because the national R's withheld the money because they didn't like Gillespie. They didn't support Stewart or Cuccinelli either. Why the national party seems to be ignoring VA and then VA is ignoring the VA people by not running candidates is a mystery that needs to be solved. All is takes is some money and support and VA will send all these people back to the minority.

Just curious.

instead of bitching and complaining or blindly throwing money at an organization so you can feel good that you are doing something.

How many are going to step up and put forth the effort to actually do something, make yourself be seen, organized a rally at the persons house that actually put forth this bill ect. Show up protesting at these representatives “real life jobs”. If you have a few hundred people show up at one of the representatives employers protesting against an employee it will get attention. These guys are part time politicians. They only work a few months a year. They don’t have security teams following them around or assigned to them.

Non-violent stuff.

Some may get arrested, just go with it and don’t resist. You will be out by the end of the day. If they charge you with more than civil disobedience I am sure crowd funding or a pro bono defense would be easy enough.

Just need an organizer to step up, person or organization.

Just my .02

Keep in mind that the fight has hardly begun yet. This is impending legislation and probably about 50-60% of the folks who I've talked to in my community were completely oblivious to the fact it would make them felons. The other side fucking loves it of course, any time they get to take the rights away from someone/thing which they don't like it gives them a fucking boner, and they can't stfu about it. All the same more good folks are getting off their asses and preparing to fight this from the bottom up.

If this legislation were based on citizen approval it NEVER would have been put on the fucking table. It's certainly in nobody's best interest to disarm VA, and most people know that.

Did anyone that was non violent ever get arrested from the front of Mitch McConnell's house or Tucker Carlson's house? Doubt it. It's amazing how the leftists psychos get treated with kid gloves, but you let a few true patriots protest in defense of the constitution, you will be made an example of.

So I guess that the Lasar Classic , Smokeless Range and any dry fire lasers or aids are now contraband . Oh fuck ! My eyeglasses aid and support my shooting . Even a Christmas Story will be banned as it depicts how to shoot a Red Ryder . Come to think of it Hollyweird is fucked . The can't show any more shoot em ups in Va. J J
cuz they show how to shoot n kill n be a gangsta paramilitary Paparoc Ninja .

These people are stupid! This is a prime example of how this shit gets passed! People are oblivious and clearly not engaged. I never will understand these people. Let them get arrested. Serves them right, if they can’t be engaged enough to know otherwise then they deserve what they get. Of course, I could argue that most of us are too busy surviving that we don’t have time to fully research all of This crap

Combine this with the way Hate speech was implemented, and creeps into Thought crime. Scenario - Trained White man defends himself with a firearm against non-White perp; with a conviction, they’ve doubled up on a prison sentence. As retarded as it is, this is our Current Year.

Boogaloo is becoming a hate word.
