Vortex 10X42 Razor HD Binocular ?

The Razor HD glass is phenomenal. With that said you may want to take a look at the Furys. They are viper quality glass with a rangefinder built in. I spent a week in WY glassing for muleys and really didn't feel I was at a disadvantage with Fury glass instead of Razors.

Not a fan of these at all and last time I checked they were made in China. Much better options in price range.

The Zeiss Conquest HDs look way better for the same price. It’s not even comparable.

Vortex Razor products are almost exclusively made in Japan, so is some of the Viper line. The cheaper lines are made in China or the Philippines.

Their spotters and most of their Binos are made in China, even the Razors. If you actually had hands on experience, you would see the "made in China" label printed into them.

The Viper scopes are made in the Philippines and I would assume their spotters and Binos made in china (never owned or used them so no idea)

“If you actually had hands on experience” . . . Oh the keyboard warriors. . In my hands on experience the razor glass was made in Japan. The Vipers I had were made in Japan, when you see Some classifieds you’ll see a “made in Japan” designation stating that glass was made there. Much of their newer Viper and cheaper lines are made in China or Philippines now.

At the end of the day, there are many great options. Just depends on price point you want to be at. I will say the VIP warranty has been great. I broke a scope level not long ago. It was less than a week from ship date to receiving my new level.

You should really learn to READ. Razor SCOPES are Made in Japan

The actual Title of this thread is BINOCULARS. How much hands on experience do you have with RAZOR BINOCULARS?

Because every set I have used or played with in the last 6 years or so , have said MADE IN CHINA on them.

The point is, Vortex hides this inconvenient fact and doesn't advertise it, leading people to believe all Razor products are made in Japan/USA.

$1k for a Chinese pair of Binos or Spotter is literal highway robbery. And people should be informed so they can make smart choices.

I just dropped $2k on a vortex scope so don't say I'm a hater. I love SOME of their products but the majority of shit they sell is trash rebranded imports no different than tasco or NCstar.

The ultra HD are new and about 50% more than the regular razors. My guess is people at vortex got tired of everyone on the net shitting on them for selling $1k chicom binos and spotters, so they came out with new jap glass thats costs as much as good german glass.

nail it?
