I am looking at this scope in MOA with the new EBR-7B reticle. Has anyone used this scope and can you give me any insight? I will be putting this on a .308 and will be out to 600-900 yards. I like the dot reticle and wished that Vortex would do the same reticle in the Gen II. How does the two compare?

I just got one with the new reticle but mine is a MIL version. Haven't mounted it but have done a little bit of glassing with it and I really like it. Size/weight is perfect for what I was after in terms of a do-it-all tactical/hunting scope. The locking turrets work very well and clicks are very tactile and distinct. Focus ring is quite stiff but I'm sure will loosen a little with use. Locking diopter is excellent and parallax very easy to dial in. Haven't bothered playing with illumination and the glass is excellent. Very impressed with the resolution looking at several objects thus far. I would say it's a step up on the glass in my Golden Eagles and the eye relief is quite generous. Eyebox seems pretty good for a 30mm tube.

Haven't performed any type of tracking test, that will have to wait until next year when my rifle is ready. I like the reticle for what it is, it's easy to pick up at 6x and 24x. If you're planning on shooting between 600-900 yards, I can't see you having any issue with this scope.

I've got one in MOA and have run it on my coyote rifle for the past year. It's only a 22-250 but I really like the scope. It tracks perfectly, the turrets are nice and locking which is great on a hunting rifle. It's not too heavy or big, however I wouldn't want it on a mountain rifle where you're walking miles every day. Glass is great but that's subjective (I also haven't looked through a new S&B or Kahles to compare).
