Rifle Scopes vortex crossfire 2 vs redfield battle zone

I am looking for a budget scope . it will start out on a .308 bolt . It will end up on 223 AR. Does anyone have any experience with these scopes? Mainly for hunting & target from hunting range to 300 yards max.

No experience with the Redfield, but I do have two Crossfire II's. Both 1" main tube; one in a 3-9x40 and the other 4-12x40 with the Dead-Hold BDC reticles. I used to rely on Leupold VXI's, but I've switch most of my budget guns over to Vortex Crossfire II's. The 4-12x40 has been great on a Savage B-Mag in 17WSM for groundhogs, raccoons, you name it. For $200, they are a great option.
