Just wanted to share a recent experience with Vortex. I recently received my PST 6-24x50 after pre-ordering through Liberty last summer. While waiting on my Butler Creek's I pinged Scott @ Vortex to see if the scopes normally come with bikini covers. As always his reply was prompt (within a day).. he mentioned how the PST's do not normally come with bikini's but without question offered to send one my way. I replied with my address and sure enough, 3 days later, a package arrives with covers for the scope and a hat too!

Needless to say the wait for the scope was well worth it and I'm proud to support a company like this. My experience with Vortex (as well as Liberty) so far have been excellent!

Scott Berish=Liberty
Scott Parks=Vortex

From the post it looks like Scott from Vortex took care of the covers in this case.

Re: Vortex customer service

I sent my Razor 5-20 scope in for the eyepiece modification. Vortex sent back my scope in a matter of days and also through in a ball cap. I have never had such prompt customer service, and the folks at Vortex are really pleasant to talk to. Vortex is really a service orientated company.

I'd also like to plug Liberty Optics. Scott B. is top notch and has always taken really good care of me. I really don't shop anywhere else for optics.

Re: Vortex customer service

A company with good customer service will goes a long way. My brother got a Viper PST 1-4 about 2 months ago and found some debris inside the scope. He contacted Vortex and shipped it back and got the replacement within a few days(about 7 days from ship from Atl to Vortex and Vortex back to Atl) with all the shipping cost paid by Vortex.
Good company to deal with and good customer service will help them in the long run. People will forget about the little bad experience and defense them when somebody bad mouth about them or become a fan boy.

Re: Vortex customer service

Okay, stump the dummy here. I just bought a Vortex Razor but am not home to see it yet. What's the modification and how can I or the guy building my rifle tell if it's already done, or not?

the modification is that they have a new rear ocular piece that improves the field of view and eye relief.

all you have to do is call customer service schedule a time to get yours swapped out, then mail it in and within a week or two your scope will be shipped back. I placed mine in the mail on monday the 14th and had it back Friday the 25th,

great customer service
