Rifle Scopes vortex help

i am confused trying to figure this out. does vortex make a scope that is FFP mil/mil in the 2/3ish to 10/15ish range that is NON illuminated?

i dont need illumination and do not want to spend the extra for that feature, but would like FFP

help?

I think all Vortex FFP are illuminated. PST and Razor line are your options. PST's are great for the money.

The closest one I know of is the FFP HS series, but is moa/moa. Vortex 4-16x50 Viper HS 30mm Rifle Scope
That being said, if a guy wanted moa units, the XLR reticle is actually of of the coolest reticles vortex has, IMO. You save about 100 bucks over the PST.

The only non-illumunated FFP models Vortex make are the Viper HS LR 4-16x and 6-26x MOA models:

Personally, I think the LR models are the sleeper scopes of the Vortex line for MOA guys. The XLR reticule is outstanding for quick holdovers and windage hold offs. I've run a PST 6-24x for two years on my competition rifle and swapped in a HS LR for this year. My next Vortex will be another HS LR not a PST.



If you absolutely need/want Mil/Mil FFP the PST line is your only choice from Vortex currently.

However if you need/want Mil/Mil non-illumunated but can use SFP look at the newly announced:

My shop just got my XLR 6-24 last night i cannot wait to get it all mounted up. The reticle has alot going on but it didnt overwhelm me like i thought it would. I currently run a HS LR in 4-16 (sfp)on my AR and its been great.
