Rifle Scopes Vortex must have made a boat load of PST's

I placed a backorder with Midway on 2/8/2011 for a 4-16x MRAD FFP, it shipped on 2/26.
I have my first custom precision rifle coming from SAC in the next few weeks so the timing is going to be about perfect.

i ordered the Vortex Viper PST 6–24x50 FFP Riflescope with EBR-1 MOA Reticle on Feb 10th, I am hoping that my scope comes in as quickly as yours.

It's not so much that vortex has shipped a lot of PST's. It's that they shipped out their orders based on when they were placed not by how big they are. For example liberty optics have over 50 back orders to fill while midway may of only had 10. So even though someone got in line at LO in January they may still have 30 ppl in line in front of them while a person who ordered from midway in February may get theirs sooner as they are less backed up.

i purchased a 4-16x PST today from SWFA.... call em, maybe they have the 6-24x in stock as well.....YMMV

Yep my roommate already ordered the 6-24 ffp mil/mil today and he was number 5 on the list.

What? You would think that Vortex is shipping scopes on a FIFO (first [order] in, first [order] out) mode. Meaning that LO should have gotten their 30 scopes before Midway got their 10 (assuming LO's orders all were in first).

Isn't that what I said? They are filling orders in the chronological order they were placed is what I was told... Just cause Dealer "X" has more backorders does not mean they are going to be getting their scopes in first is what I was saying.
