Enough to be noticeable. My buddy has the trijicon and I have a 6-24 pst. I would buy the Vortex again in a heartbeat. My buddy is fairly happy with the trijicon, but the mildot reticle is too thick for prairie dogs and other small varmints.

6-24 PST in a hearbeat...the Trijicon's are great optics, but mil/moa and SFP, for the price, are not practical features as compared to their competitors' scopes in the same class. It's my opinion that the glass quality and brightness, alone, do not put them at the PST's level. Let's be honest, the glass clarity/quality in the PST is also good.

ETA - in this price range, I would not neglect the SWFA SSHD's, either. USed SSHD's are not that far off in their pricing.

I just ordered a vortex from aa optics.....cant wait to get. Now I just need a base and rings. Trying to decide between the EGW and the blackhawk 20moa base.

I have the 6x24 & the 4x16 PST.
Both with Nightforce 20 MOA base & rings.
For the past year and a half they've been very solid platforms for me.
I think you'll be very pleased with your new scope.
Just remember to turn off the reticle light after use...
It sucks to want to use it and not be able to.

I have the PST 6-24 FFP mil/mil mounted on my Savage 10BA-LE. I used the DNZ freedom reaper tactical 20moa 1 piece mount. It is made specifically for the Savage round receivers, fits like a glove and has a low profile. Got it from SWFA as it was less than from the DNZ website. About $105 as I recall. You have to dig on the DNZ products website to find the right part number as it was not clear on the SWFA website... I think I got the medium height model ( am at my mom's and can't check right now...). I like the mount a lot and it was a good value compared to some...
