Rifle Scopes Vortex PST for JP LRP-07

I am planning on a JP LRP-07 build. After reading on here it seems that the Viper PST is very well regarded, especially for its price point. Does anyone have an reasons to get something other than the Viper? Or to may more (for a novice) for something higher-end?

Also, can anyone recommend a place to order from?

Unless your budget is bigger there is nothing wrong with the PST. I am running one on my AR-10T and I am very happy. If my funds were greater I would have purchased a Razor but since they are not I went with the PST and I have no regrets...

I'm glad to hear this positive feedback on the PST. It seems to be a good "budget" scope for me to start with.

They are not just 'a great scopes for the money', they are great scopes period. I have one on my 18" 308 AR and have been very happy with it.

Awesome to hear. What do the higher priced Razors add then? I tried comparing but am not familiar enough with scopes yet to know what it means in practice (lots of research, but no hands on exposure to good optics).

Much stouter construction, 10mil turrets, better reticle, much better glass, theyre made in Japan instead of the Philippines, and real zero stops. If you've got the cash theyre worth the upgrade. I plan to pick up a few once they start getting dumped for the Gen IIs in the next couple of months.
