Nope, I would expect it if I had a turret run in or out one way or another... but this is with them set to the middle. When I crank the elevation out, then obviously I get a nasty blackout on the bottom, and I expect this.
The shaddow is exactly as you see it in the pictures, and this is with my eyeball directly behind right where I need to be. I'm using an AICS chassis with adjustable cheek, so I know my head is on it right. When I try to come off the scope one way or the other, I get the shadow effect that I would expect. However, there is nothing I can do, no way, no how to get a full eyebox. When centered up, always see that shadow in lower left.
As you can see by the pics... magnification doesn't matter either.
