What's the first rule of Fight Club?Get on expertvoice asap! I just got the G3 for 1999.99. Zeiss is there too but not as low. You have until 5/31!
Looks like someone stuck the wrong wrench in the hole, and/or over-torqued the shit out of that Zeiss windage cap screw...
They're torx, not hex/Allen, so that's probably why.Looks like someone stuck the wrong wrench in the hole, and/or over-torqued the shit out of that Zeiss windage cap screw...![]()
Oh I'm aware, I have an LRP S3 6-36... It also comes with the correct size wrench in the box.

How do you like those caps Rob?

I was going to get those, but since I run my caps horizontal, the bulky-ass mounting design wasn't going to work... You can pretty much only mount those vertical. So, I had to get Butler Creek caps for it. Zeiss really needs to resign that huge screw tumor design, IMO...

I need them at 90º... Just out of habit for keeping a low profile when trying to fit through small spaces...You can mount them at 45 degrees off without issue.
You talking the objective? How small of a space? Anything match related they are plenty small enough to fit through. Most stocks or chassis will be wider for over all width. I thought you meant the eye piece and being able to see elevation but still clear bolt.I need them at 90º... Just out of habit for keeping a low profile when trying to fit through small spaces...
Not much taller than the objective... No, not match related...You talking the objective? How small of a space? Anything match related they are plenty small enough to fit through. Does it really matter why he wants them sideways? He wants them that way, and bought caps to suit.
Rob01,
Considering the prices on Expert Voice, do you consider the Zeiss S3 4-25/6-36's worth the extra money over the comparable Burris XTR Pro's and the Steiner T6 Xi 5-30x56. The Vortex Razor Gen III 6-36x56 is just too heavy for my use. Is there a better source for Mil/LE than Expert Voice or EuroOptic? I am in the most corrupt state with the highest sales tax (10.5%), so that is factor. I am a long term Leupold user. I have had a great experience with Leupold scopes over 25 years. I have several Mark 5's. Unfortunately, their illuminated Mil scopes seldom show up on their VIP web page and Leupold will not take back orders. I purchased one illuminated Leupold from Scott, but he can o longer obtain Leupolds. Thank you.
Make friends with someone in a non sales tax state. Have them buy, and reship to you. All you need do is pre-pay or reimburse them costs. Wala no communist Cali tax.Rob01,

I think either EuroOptic or Scopelist might have they eat the tax deals and military law enforcement discount. Some other dealers may not charge out of state tax too.Rob01,
