I was recently prepping for my first PRS comp. As the title suggests, I have a Razor HD on my rifle. i have had this scope for ~2 years. I have noticed that my turret has a "wobble" in it as i turn it. this is not a new issue. What i mean by that is if i turn it perfect (no side forces), it turns just great. However, if, as you are pretty typically going to do, you turn it with any off axis force, the axis moves and i end up with binding. said another way, if you are behind the gun, and you push sidewas on the turret, the center of rotation moves off center. hopefully that makes sense. i see the same thing happening with the windage, but it isn't as bad and i don't tend to mess with windage much.
my question is, for those that have one, do you experience the same thing? does your turret "bend" or move off axis easily? does it bind? it definitely cost me some points during the match as i couldnt get it to easily dial from time to time. i might need 3.2 mil and it would stick at 3, then hop over to 3.4 and id have to fidget with it to get it to stop on the correct location.
i have a pst ii and its turrents do not exhibit this issue and my friends kahles had no similar issue. i know i can send it back, and now that the comp is over, probably will, but wanted to see if this was a known issue.
