Is it true that Vortex rings are in fact made by Seekins? If that is true does Seekins make all of the Vortex rings?

Does Seekins also make Vortex bases?

I am working on a Remington Model 700 5-R in .308 build and I am considering the Vortex HS-T 4-16 scope. The rifle will be used for some bench shooting as well as hunting. I am not partial to any rings or bases yet and so I am open to other recommendations.

Seekins does make some of the vortex rings. You can tell by looking at them they look exactly the same. The only difference is the height. Seekins mediums are not the same as vortex mediums.

Seekins manufactures the Precision Matched rings line for Vortex. I don't know if they do any other products for them, but I know that this line is Seekins.

Seekins makes their precision matched rings, Badger Ordnance makes some of their other high end rings I believe. The Vortex PM rings are the same prices as the regular Seekins rings so check out both, more height options with regular Seekins rings. I have a similar Vortex scope in some Seekins low 4/6 rings and they are very nice, smooth and low profile.

Yes seekins makes they're high end rings. Got a set of low height rings and it said right on the box manuf. by seekins. I've got the vortex cantilevered non-qd mount sitting on my ar. It's a fine mount for the price, but mine was made in china. It does the job though. Never lost zero or had it loosen up and that's after a year of being chucked in 3 gun barrels.
