Vudoo 360 feeding problem manners tcs

Having some feeding issues with my vudoo. It’s in a manners prs-tcs. Very very little if any up and down play in the magazine. But it will rock back and forth a bit especially if the mag contacts a bag or barricade. Is there any good fix for magazine “tilt” in the mag well. If I apply light, foreword (towards the muzzle), pressure it feeds flawless.

Applying piece of loop Velcro to the front of the magazine could help. Tape also works. I haven't ran any plastic magazines just aluminum ones in my V22 in TCS so my experience might vary. But above mentioned remedies have worked for me before in different set ups

While not a Vudoo but when I had a TCS I made an arca barricade stop. Worked just fine. Nothing wrong with a little extra insurance to keep mags from smashing against a bag.

I have the same issues with my TCS but not with all the mags. Must be some tolerance issues with the polymer mags as some fit pretty well and others rock back and forth a lot. The feed problems drove me crazy as they were intermittent dependent on which mag was in the gun and if I was applying pressure to the mag from a bag. Using extenders exacerbated the problem by giving more length/leverage for the bag to push.
The tape does help, for me it was a patch or two on the front of the mag body just under the feed tower. It is not foolproof however, if you put excessive pressure into a bag they will still dip and misfeed.
I just acquired a barricade block from Area419 that should help keep some pressure off the mag bodies.

On a side note...
For the two worst mags (I actually pulled from the trash can) I have devised a way to modify the front feed lip area to allow you to adjust it's height to accommodate the different angle caused by the loose fit. I will use them for the first time in two matches this weekend. We'll see,

Here’s my fix. I can’t even make it have a feeding issue anymore. You could hang the rifle on the mag and it will still feed fine.

Gorgeous stock! I went with the universal L3i magazines and filed down the outer edge like the Vudoo Eley mods. Feeds perfect, and fits tight.

6x32 screw in the mag works very well. Center it with the roll pin on the mag release.

I had the same problem with a CMP 40XB that I'd had jelrod convert into a repeater using V22 mags, when I had it in a Manners T4A stock with gen 1 mini chassis. It didn't take much pressure against the front of the magazine body to keep it from feeding, so Krebaum & I used spare 6x32 allen head capscrews in our mags, as pictured above in his post. TPS scope rings always came with a spare 6x32 screw for the ring split, and after quite a few years of using TPS TSR rings, I had a baggie of several dozens of these screws. I sold that Manners stock a few years later, went with another T4A with M5 bottom inlet, and used PTG Stealth DBM. The fit with early prototype V22 mags was so snug that I had to sand mag bodies down a bit to get them to drop free when the mag release was tripped, which I thought at the time was a bit of a PITA - but, there was no rocking back, even when I put a fair amount of pressure against the mag while shooting through a port.

If you want your factory mags to work against a barricade you will need to use tape or Velcro on them. I prefer the l3i because it is slightly oversized and fits a little better in the magwell. Plus you can adjust the height to work both prone or loaded.

I use the Velcro on my vudoo mags but after trying the L3I mags and having great success with those, that is all I use anymore. You can raise the magazine slightly higher so even if the mag does move it still feeds perfectly.

This is a mag catch issue. I had same issue trying to run my Vudoo in a TCS. Manners said 4 times they sent me a longer catch, but it never showed up. Sold it and moved to a foundation where it runs flawless with hawkins or OTM.

I put a small patch of Velcro on the back of my mags just below the mag catch "bump". I also used a chainsaw file and chamfered the inside front of the poly mag, making a feed ramp of sorts. This has eliminated almost all of my feeding issues short of rim-lock.

Forgot to mention this was in a Grayboe Ridgeback stock.

In hindsight I believe 99% of my issues were due to changed magazine angle from pressure against a bag which is why we do all the tape, velcro and filing. Rim lock is tossed around a lot but IMHO the occurrence of that is minimal compared to mag fit and tilt.
The little guard at the front of the Manners bottom metal (in regards to my TCS) is completely insufficient in respect to the Vudoo application.
So I end up trying the Area 419 barricade stop even though it looks too short to help, and it is, but looking at how it's made gave me an idea.
I have fingers crossed that this should eliminate 99% of my feed problems, time at matches will prove this or not.

Having used this for the remainder of the 2022 season I can say it has eliminated all the feed frustrations of the Vudoo. In all the matches since using this I had only one misfeed and that was with a magazine that had been "doctored" because of the feed problems (it went in the garbage 🗑).
New polymer mags worked perfectly.
If you own a Vudoo, and shoot with barricade bags, a stop that is full length for at least a standard magazine is an absolute must.

IDK, it would sell. Seeing a friends MPA chassis with an outstanding barricade stop on it prompted me to figure something out.

Although I own and use one of the GrayOps barricade stops, what made the most difference in eliminating feeding issues for me was adjusting my mag release and the KRG mag well to fit my mags perfectly. A properly seated mag is now almost impossible to notice any movement in any direction when pushing on the mag, yet it still drops free easily when pressing the release. If your chassis has any option for adjustment I highly recommend doing so.
