Vudoo ravage failure to fire

I purchased a new ravage ,and am experiencing approx 15 percent failure to fire with Sk ammunition.I just have to recock the bolt and it fires.I have examined the bolt and the firing pin stop is making contact with the bolt nose.Any other suggestions?

1st try a different ammo. Your chamber is cut for Lapua Center X. I would give them a call tomorrow and talk with them. When I had this issue I sent my bolt back to them and rebuilt it, dropped a new firing pin and spring in it. Zero questions ask and no charge. I offered to pay but they just took care of it.

I will eventually be in the market for a 700 pattern 22 action. I’m not sure how voodoo gets away with so many issues with an action that costs so much. Will not be my choice when I buy.

The bolt is adjustable for firing pin extension. Might just take a click or two. 3 minute job.

If not they can send you a heavier firing pin spring.

Finely tuned actions you want to minimize the vibration so no need to go to a heavy spring unless you need it.

If you want something that you never have to adjust and it always shoots then buy a CZ. If you want utmost precision, get ready to tune things.
