My barreled action came with the 20 moa base. Im looking at going up to the 30 or 40moa for NRL and PRS. Anyone have any thoughts? Also is the Vudoo compatible with any 700 scope base?

If anyone has one laying around they are looking to get rid of let me know.

A lot will depend on your scope and how much total elevation you have to work with. I have a total of 60 MOA in the rail/mount. 40 in the rail and 20 in the Spuhr. Zero at 25 yards and have more than 500 yards on the turret. YMMV.

    I am running a PST Gen2.
I thinking the 40 probably is the better way to go. Not sure if I want to spend the money on a Spuhr though. But maybe just going with a 60 moa base would be the best route.

On my 20moa I was able to hit out to 300 but lost it when trying to get out to 400. 500 sounds like even more fun.

But this does bring up another question 25 or 50 yard zero?

I ordered my Vudoo with a 30. Tried a 60. It worked with my K525i but literally had the scope bottomed out for 25 yards. Now on a 40.

I think any 700 compatible base will work, but the Vudoo bases have pins to key into the top of the action for extra support.

The Vudoo is spaced for the screw holes .86" for front and rear bridges..... Remington 700s are .862 front bridge and .607 rear bridge if memory serves.....

Edited to add...... I love my Vudoo!!!!!
