Bought a 6.5mm PRC in a lightweight package. I was looking for a GOOD tracking, clear and relatively lightweight. I got this Leupold NIB for a VERY VERY good price.


How is the tracking on these scopes, please? If something out there is in the same class more or less (price, weight, clarity etc) but with impeccable tracking what would it be? I can return it anytime if it is no good for my purposes. What say you??????

I have not used it yet I haven't even mounted it yet that's why I said I could return it if I can do better within the same specification as in Clarity price weight Etc

It is a great scope. I have a few of them on my hunting rifles. Can’t beat the optical performance and tracking.

I prefer the VX5hd, has a slight weight penalty but offers a better zoom range, better glass, better turrets and a much wider FOV, which IMO is the most important thing to look for is a hunting scope.
They are a bit more money but are worth every penny, the 3-15x44 shouldn't mount too much higher than the VX3i either.

The VX6hd and VX5hd have a better reputation for tracking than the VX3s do.
