We just dropped MOAB(s) in Afghanistan.

On a side note, who loves the fact that it is delivered by a C130. Gun ship, cargo ship and bomber. Put a hellfire and nose gun on that plane and lets see it dog fight.

Finally the US acting like a super power, and not a cowardice bitch.......with our resources, and our foot hold in the middle east, there is no way ISIS should have lasted this long...........Trump and Mattis arent playing around......world better get its act together.

I wonder if ISIS was looking up thinking they were going to intercept a supply drop. Oh they had no damn idea what was coming. My smile just got a little bigger.

I totally agree. I think the air field now MOAB, isn't just to remove a target from the battlefield, it's sending a message to NK, Iran, and who ever else grew a set after the last eight years of a Pussy-In -Chief. That message is the "USA still us the super power and you little pissant countries that think they can push us around, you're next..."

reminds me of the Mattis quote to the villagers, "fuck with me and I'll kill you all.". About damn time!

21k pounds of Freedom has arrived!

Operational test in case NK is dumb. Plus it shows NK whats up.

We need to be dropping that shit, carpet bombing and blowing up everything/anything on a daily basis over there. There's no hearts and minds, it needs to simply be way more guns than roses from here on out. If you can make the jihadis think twice because they know that not only will they get bombed, but everyone around them, just because we don't give a fuck, you'll actually start winning.

Only 16 million per copy. Damn that would feed a lot of lazy non working welfare recipients.

Here's how much the 'mother of all bombs' the US just dropped on ISIS in Afghanistan actually cost

Some of President Donald Trump's critics were quick to decry the cost of dropping the "mother of all bombs" on an ISIS target in Afghanistan on Thursday.

But the number heavily cited across social media, $314 million, was how much the US military paid for 20 such bombs, technically called the Massive Ordnance Air Blast.

The US Air Force dropped one MOAB — the largest nonnuclear bomb in the US's arsenal — on an ISIS target in a remote part of far northeast Afghanistan, according to the Pentagon. White House press secretary Sean Spicer said the goal was to destroy "a system of tunnels and caves that ISIS fighters used to move around freely, making it easier for them to target US military advisers and Afghan forces in the area."

One MOAB costs about $16 million, and 20 have been produced, according to the military equipment site Deagel.com.

If you're going to send a message, you don't drop one bomb, you drop five at the same time in close proxcimity and tell them you only dropped one bomb. And you don't tell the world you only have twenty, you tell them you have two thousand on hand. Then tell them within 24 hours you can produce three a day.

Pyongyang.... Can you hear me now?

BTW, we dropped a lot of FAE stuff in the early days of Afghanistan. Most were psy-ops. Blew a lot of mountain tops into... mountain tops.

But IMHO, this was just about demonstrating how an FAE can take out several thousand artillery tubes at a time!

Overpressure is a great thing! So is BBQ.

Cheers,

Sirhr

I'd drop 10 of them just so welfare roaches would starve.

Go be poor somewhere else.

Love it!
The jihadis are just surprised there are 72 virgin goats!

I have sympathy that they get so much wrong pounded into their tiny brains from birth and I believe the only way to fix the problem was just started!

Is it to early to nominate Mattis for sainthood? Right beside JMB? Hehehehee

Not sure if it's an FAE... I think it's powdered aluminum (they had to do something with that plant once it stopped making shuttle SRB fuel). But it has a similar effect. FAE/Dust over-pressure explosion. Same general principle. Put out a stoichiometric mixture of fuel to air, light it off and Kaboom....

And while we only have a few MOAB's... we have a lot of FAE's.

I'll go look up what is in a MOAB. Hoping it's fairy dust and hate!

Cheers,

Sirhr

Edit: I am wrong. It's Tritonal which is TNT accelerated (actually decelerated) by 20 percent colloidal aluminum powder to prolong the pressure wave. All about over-pressure and thermobaric here. Knock things down, light them up and suck out the oxygen, all in one easy-to-deliver and stylish package. No FAE principles here. Just an earth-shattering kaboom!

Reports (for what they are worth) 36 killed. Report also says villagers some miles away are pretty damn impressed. As they felt the earth shake.
