On my way to the hospital. My Dad's in a bad way. Heart is failing suddenly. No clues yet from docs. God is God, gimme some knee mail, please.

As soon as I know anything. Dad's a Marine, so we knew that eventually he would be walking a post elsewhere. God takes as he needs, and I must accept the eventuality.
VeerG, my prayers are sent for you and your father. I'll also pray that the hospital, doctors and nurses all do their best for him.
Lord we pray in the name of Jesus that you would heal his father. I pray you would give the doctors and nurses wisdom and knowledge to do what is needed to bring comfort and healing to him. Bring peace to veer and all of his family in Jesus name we pray Amen
They medevaced him by helo to a regional tertiary care hospital. I'm with him in the CICU. He's coherent, and cheerful, but his BP is way up, and his heart rate is still crazy low. I haven't managed to get to all the messages yet, but I will. To my layman's eyes, it was something called syncope, and just shitty timing on the highway.

Both of my folks recently had major medical issues. Both ok now. Two things came out of it, it deepened my already high appreciation for my folks, and greatly strengthened my faith in God.

They gave my room away. Had a room arranged at the hotel that serves the hospital's needs, but the night auditor gave it away. I'm sleeping in the truck for a few hours after eating shit in the cafeteria that I wouldn't feed to cons.
