Trying to figure out if I should mount this on my 7mm rem mag hunting rifle, or sell it and upgrade..... Looks like a decent scope, but haven't put it through it paces. On line reviews says its a decent piece of glass. Also not sure what its worth...... SO......

Whats it worth?

Is it worth upgrading to something else for a deer hunting platform? I hunt in PA, so usually 300 yard max....

Thanks in advance for any opinions..... IMG_4366.jpgIMG_4367.jpgIMG_4368.jpgIMG_4369.jpg

Natchez has the 800380 on sale for 750 which has the matching mil/mil reticle and turrets.

Yours has mil reticle and moa turrets. I would sell it. How much is it worth? 500? You’ll have to get someone that doesn’t mind mismatched turrets and reticle.

For 300y deer its a lot better than what most use, snipers hide crowd mostly excluded.

Ebay would probably get you the best price. In todays crowded market, it may not bring much. You never know though.

Honestly for a hunting rig I would keep it. I have the 5-30x56 version of the same scope and it has really good glass. That is a Japanese made LOW optic I believe. If you sell it for $500-600 you will have to go down in glass quality and durability unless you want to put another $500-600 with it at least. As I said, I have the 5-30 and I’m not real big on the reticle but given what I paid for the scope it was such a good buy I can live with the reticle given the overall quality of the scope. I would just use the mildot reticle like a BDC reticle since you will be shooting inside 300yds. That 7mm shoots so flat at that range anyway you should not have a whole lot of trouble. Now if this rig will double as a long range rifle the mildot/MOA would be an issue. If it’s just a hunting rig, you have a durable optic with relatively good glass. I say keep it and use it.
