Anybody got one or tried one. A friend of mine got one for a budget build but hasn't shot it yet. I looked through and the glass seemed clear, the reticle was fine and crisp. The illumination looked really good in daylight also. The clicks was really solid feeling and not a bit mushy. Just wondering if anybody has reveiwed one for a low cost alternative.

22 Views and not one reply. I know its a cheap scope but seems like I see all of em at one time or the other. I'll know sometime next week on his, just figured someone else had already got their hands on one and could tell us a little about them

Weaver makes some nice scopes, and ATK has good customer service. That being said, if anything goes wrong with your scope they will stand by their product. Thing is, Weaver has followed a trend that many established companies have done. Sell a cheap Chinese version of their quality products and provide a warranty.

When you are 12 hours from home, in the woods cold and tired, or in 102 degree desert conditions, you dont want a warranty you want a guarantee of performance.

Optics are the most important part of your shooting system, most times your glass will cost x2 or more than your rifle. Sure there are folks that can x-ring with a factory Axis or Stevens and a Tasco scope, but if you step into the long range game you need a scope that will track, is clear, and a useful and true reticle. I do not feel the Kaspa will do that for you.

In short, the Kaspa is a Hyundai when you should be looking for a BMW.

If you want a budget Weaver, look at the MidwayUsa exclusive Weaver tactical 3-10x40. It is a Grand Slam scope with external mil/mil adjustments. Midway has them on sale every other month or so.
