Oh yeah, that scope is screwed!
I'll give you $50 for it ...

ok, skep_tic1, you push a hard bargain. I'll give you $60 for it!
Seriously, I'm having a hard time seeing your point as to what's "wrong" with this scope. The lack of "perfection" the pictures is showing is way less than I've seen with high end scopes. I'm talking about scopes I've owned by NightForce, Schmidt & Bender, and Premier Heritage.
My heart goes out to Scott at Liberty Optics. He's a one man operation having to ignore everything else to deal with this "knob" issue. So sad.
skep_tic1, remember to call this scope "horse poop", the knobs "wobbly" and the glass "a far cry from IOR" when you sell this Weaver. Remember to call it "used" and "defective" and not "new in box" since this is preforming so poorly for you, the original owner.
I think that you ought to find an extremely experienced Sniper's Hide member in your neck of the woods to do an unbiased analysis of this scope. I'm sure there are excellent and very experienced Sniper's Hide shooters in North Carolina. Finding someone who's damn good shouldn't be difficult. Show them everything that is wrong with the scope. Don't be surprised if they heartedly disagree with your assessment. Also, don't be surprised if they take apart your "wobbly" knobs to see if they've been abused* verses manufacturer's defect.
*As a side note, you'd be amazed at what some people will do to a product when they have buyer's remorse and they want to get their money back.
Scott Berish, my heart really goes out to you on this one.
