I have installed a new Weight System in my Aero Solus. I was able to balance my rifle just ahead of the Barricade Stop. The system consists of a Buttstock weight which adds 1.5 lbs and the internal forearm weights add 0.5 lbs for each weight.

The weight system is manufactured by Dauntless Engineering.

The internal weight come in three pieces the base plate and two side pieces. The side piece has one fastener that attaches the side piece to the base plate. There are two threaded rods (Jack Screws) that when screwed down expand the side piece to hold it in place. The base plate is cut to fit in an M Lok slot on the bottom. See attached photos. I installed the base plate first then slide a side piece in and loosely tightened the fastener. Then slowly tightened the jack screws, once the side piece was jacked into place then tightened the fastener. There are steel inserts in the base plate that the jack screws tighten against.

Yes, so far, I was able to balance my rifle by positioning the weights towards to front with the bipod on the very front. Due to the way the factory milled out the forearm they tapered the front, and rear slot in the forearm so cannot get a weight to the very front or rear.

That's really clever.

I like how you can move them around to REALLY tune your balance.

Are you satisfied with them so far?

Tune that chassis to match up with the resonance of your barrel harmonics from your tuner setting so that everything is in sync.

Hopefully enough fidelity in the different settings to allow the amplitudes of the sinusoidal waves to match up.

Tune your tune, if you will. I bet @carbonbased will be all over this...

My head hurts bro...lol.

Salmon river solutions makes a brass internal weight as well as external forend weights that won't block access to the acra rail.
I adore Salmon River Solutions as a company but their internal weight didn't work for me. I couldn't get the weight to stay in my chassis. It moved around despite following their instructions. This could have been due to variance in spec from the cerakoted upper. Their external weights however are money for the SOLUS chassis.

Is this for real? Trolling? Put a suppressor on your rifle, takes all the chassis harmonics out the equation! Lol
