I dont know any of you personally but you seem like decent folks.

Typing into a screen can take the humanity out of a discussion. Its easy to cross lines, offend people, get offended, over react, disregarding others perspectives and generally not give a fuck. Nobody is perfect and the internet allows us to be the most imperfect egotistical assholes.

honestly its just a forum. not much different than the social medias and other places people collect to type shit. if you take it personal youre doing it wrong. theres going to be assholes here just like there is everywhere. gun people typically have strong personalities. Loved horta but if he took things too personal and left, its more his loss than it is ours. I appreciated his input but where else are you going to get a collection of such a large number of high end gun nuts. (let me know, Ill go hang out there too) I bet he regrets leaving. if not today, some other day when he wants to talk about the cool shit he spends his money on.
just like his grocery bag post, you dont have to look very far to see this is actually a pretty awesome community. oh well, take this place like you should take life, w/ a grain of salt. and be appreciative for the good, not dwell on the bad.

Here is where I disagree. He is not just someone on here like you or me, he is one of the “cool kids”, so when he goes missing, people notice and ask questions. Often. More of a way to notify his “members only fans”. Its a breakup, and instead of ghosting he sent us a text at least.
