    Been like that for a while now.
    There are data bases that have a significant amount of information on what happens on the internet. Groups sell this information to bidders for consumerism purposes among other purposes. Nothing on the internet is private.
     
    My daughter looked at a beach towel to give her friend for her birthday, one night last week on the internet. I came to work the next morning and saw the same beach towel advertised on my computer at work. They know everything about us.
