This is going to be for the AR.
Anyone have experience with them? They are made in USA and priced well $75.

I like mine. Pain in the ass to get the scope perfectly level but hasnt moved in 2 years. Im pretty ruff on my stuff. I like it better than the Vortex I have my other scope in and the Vortex was $30 more if i remember correctly.

I love my Aero SPR mounts, I think I’m up to three now. None have ever given me any issue, and they’re my go-to for when I want weight savings. I’d be apprehensive using one on a defensive rifle, but that’s namely because their selling point is their weight not necessarily their rigidity. That apprehension is likely completely unfounded, mine have held up to field use great.

I used them for awhile, they are extremely lightweight, which for me was not confidence inspiring. I always questioned how well they held zero, not sure I really ever had an issue, but it was in my head so I got rid of them.

I have one.
Pros: Lightweight, cost and look good.
Cons: It is a bitch to get scope mounted straight. Strength. I have seen them break, and have read about people who have had them fail. The interaction of the rings.
Depending on the use of the rifle will dictate if it is appropriate. Range toy etc OK. Hard use, HD, SHTF I prefer NF or badger. YMMV.

Cheers, Steve

awesome info thanks!

I had the SPR mount. Rings will cant the scope when you torque em, took me about four tries to get it perfect. It was high enough to fit a 50mm objective on an AR-15, very light weight, no significant problems. I switched to Seekins rings since, in the end I didn't trust the Aero mount for hard use. Maybe my concerns were real, maybe not.

I have 34mm ring on an AR-10 in .308 with a Trijicon accupower 1-8x28. I’m not exactly the easiest on my guns and it hasn’t budged.
Like others have said, not the easiest to get the scope level when torquing, but once it is, it is solid.

I know I’ll get flak for this, but I’ve had the hook system on the top of the rings break on two separate mounts.

that hook system causes some pretty extreme forces, and is a pretty weak area. That said, I was on a 3-Gun team, and the matches we shot were pretty tough on gear.

All I know is I’ll never buy one.

No hard use on mine, but have used them on my 6.5 Grendel and 300 Ham'r , no issues to date in over 4 years of use. Like others stated getting scope leveled was the biggest pain. Weight and rep of Aero Precision were factors in my purchase.

Like everyone els. I love mine. And also, it takes a bit to get it level and tight at the same time. I have 3 on ARs and have had 0 issues. I have a 4th one waiting for my next build. Definitely recommended.

I have 2-3 of them and have been using the extended and SPR mount for approximately 4 years now. I have not experienced anything negative about the mounts and I use them on my SBR & SPR.

the only annoyance is setting the eye relief.

Agree with everyone here. I have them on two 3gun rifles and one tactical rifle for 4 years now and zero issues to report. Scope leveling does take some patience, but then so does a Geissele 😅
