I love this company and I am in the market for a new optic for my 260rem.

Who has seen one more importantly who has used one?

I have used ACOGS in Mil and have owned a few but I know nothing of this sight.

Opnions???????????

I've played with the 1-4 accupoint, and I really like it. Trijicon makes quality optics.

Re: What about the NEW Trijicon AccuPoint® - 5-20x50

I have a 1-4x and it is a fantastic optic. Clear as air and the reticle is perfect for a field gun. I have it battle zeroed at 50 yards, and it's good to about 275 with a 55 grain .223.

I might wait to see what Trijicon does with the 5-20x50 however. I looked in to getting one for my LTR in .308, but ran quickly when I saw that it has but a measly 37 MOA of elevation travel. That's not enough to get out to 1000 yards without a base, perhaps one as large a 30 MOA, and would almost certainly not allow the gun to zero at 100 if one has that base. I currently have a Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24x50 and I may not be able to shoot at both 1000 and 100, and my elevation travel is ~50 MOA which is more than 137" more at 1000 yards.

Here's to hoping that Trijicon fixes that glaring issue. I'm sure the glass is fantastic, it is in my 1-4x and every other Trijicon product I have seen to date, and the reticle with fiber optic and tritium lighting is very likely the bomb, but with only 37 MOA of travel, it's a non-starter for anyone who wants to shoot longer than the distance at your average shooting range.

This scope is excellent! The glass is super clear and right up there with the best of them. I fell in love with it when I looked at one in the local gun store while putting together my Remington compact tactical . I was not sure how I would be able to shoot using the triangle post after only using the duplex style, but let me say that it is just as easy as anything I have ever used in 20 years . The best part is the field of view is simply amazing, it is not blocked with the cross hairs like a regular scope. I was able to shoot .350 and .450 groups consistently with this set up. The clicks are positive and true. Some people say they are unable to see the illuminated dot or triangle in some cases very well, I know that you can still see the triangle in total darkness as well as the brightest day light it is crystal clear. I can't say enough good things about this scope other then you will not be disappointed in this product.

B&H Photo shows just 34 MOA.

I think someone is giving out some bad info. I just checked my 2.5-10x56 accupoint and it has 70 moa of elevation and windage.

i called trijicon, and they told me that it is roughly 40 moa total travel in both directions, for the 5-20x50...i was dissapointed my self at the travel limits, and am also impressed by how clear the optics are

Just to be clear. They told you 40 moa in both directions. Meaning that from the middle point you have 40 up and 40 down giving a total of 80 moa. I don't see how this is a problem? Most long range scope have around 100 moa.

Re: What about the NEW Trijicon AccuPoint® - 5-20

What good is 20x with no MOA? I just came here to post ?'s about the optic as the ACOG's are great....I thought "wow a long range tactical scope from ACOG" and it was cheap $1000 or abouts. But with such little adjustment.....its worthless. YOu don't need 20x to shoot at 500 yards
