What Are The M700 SS 5R Stocks Worth?

Just ordered two M700 SS 5R rifles, one in .308 and the other in .300 Win. Mag.

I'm upgrading the stocks, and selling the factory originals.

Any idea what the factory original M700 SS 5R stocks are worth?

I'm selling them here on the 'Hide within the next few weeks at a steep discount, should anyone be interested.

Is that the same infamous Hogue stock they put on their regular varminters (the one they call the rubbermaid stock)?

It's the HS Precision stock with palm swell. I just traded mine (long action) for a B&C medalist. I figure they should be worth ~$175 or so. There is more of a market for the short actions so they tend to move faster and run a little more than the longs.

From what i've seen they go for about 200 in real good shape 225 new take off

Absolutely brand new "takeoff" go for $220-230 shipped CONUS

Light knicks, use, scratches, etc deduct 10-15%

Something that's been skim bedded, painted, etc etc etc another 20% off.

Sounds like yours should each fetch appx $200 after you're done shipping them.

I've seen them sell for $150-250.

One builder used to post new take-offs for $200+shipping.
