My church hosted a God and Country breakfast where we had over a hundred attending - remarkable for such a small church. The speaker was a vietnam veteran, air cavalry, and he spoke about how much America means to him, and how much it should mean to each of us. Our pastor read to us from George Washington's first innagural address about the need to remember that America is a blessing from God, and that we Americans are stewards of that blessing. Furthermore, we are blessed beyond measure to have been born Americans. The rest of the world is not so fortunate.

My thanks to our forefathers for coming over here and for having the heart and the backbone to pledge their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor. My thanks to anyone who's ever put on the uniform, and thanks to any family who now has an empty seat at the table so that we can be free.
