Maggie’s What are you drinking right now!?

Finishing up with a George Dickle Rye from 2012 when it was introduced. Is the same 95% Rye 5% Malted barley as is every LDI/MGP made Rye and makes up 90% of every Rye offering on the shelves, but run through charcoal before barreling per the legal classification of "Tennessee Whiskey" which makes it unique among these.

It is very good as I remember it, I will have to pick up a current bottle to see if it has changed much. I tend to buy a bunch of bottles when I like something, as it always changes and not always for the better.

Unlike the regular George Dickle Tennessee Whiskey offerings it does not have that weird 'sour' vitamin B dust taste to it.

Quilters' "Irish Death" ale. 7.9% abv dranked at room temperature, like ale was made to be drinked. Dark, heavy, full flavored and full bodied.

Celebrating another day survived at Boeing. Or not. Maybe just celebrating another day of life.

You're welcome.

Another " lucrative " day at the mic.

Cry me a river.

36 years worth of that shit and finally chashed out.

God damn it is good to he gone.
The fags, democrats, Ken's and Karen's have taken the mic over.

It sickens me to think of it.

I'm normally a scotch guy but I decided to try this on the recommendation of the liquor store owner. Wow! This stuff is awesome, sweet coconut and pear. I think that I'm going to try a few more rums.

Was at the liquor store yesterday and my buddy showed me a couple of new offerings / commemorative bottles.

They were just sticking names / branding some junk inside . Probably end up as collectors items.

I passed, told him missing words like cask strength, single barrel, barrel proof etc.

He remembered then I was not a collector.

I was able to get 3 bottles of the Allardice that was the 23 year old stuff, ordered it from Europe. It was the best whiskey I ever had. I still have one of the 23 y.o. left, I enjoy just looking at it, the color is incredible. The bottle on the left is a Glendronach 12 and on the right is the 23 y.o. Allardice.

Those are good. I have ‘05-12. I’ve seen some interesting ones from prior to ‘05
'94 is the oldest one I've had. 2003 and 2004 were probably the most I drank volume wise. Just kind of got out of the habit of buying some every year once the age started dropping below 10.

EWSB, Henry McKenna 10 BIB and Elijah Craig 12 were all great bourbons at a very affordable price (all were sub $25) before things went stupid on price and age.
