Maggie’s What are you drinking right now!?

Reverend Nat's Halleluiah Hopricot Cider. Hops and cider... Match made in heaven, my number one cider or beer at the moment. Iceman isn't bad either, but it's a tad on the sweet side for me. I like 'em dry.

Odin's Freya Gold Kolsch is damn good beer too.

They still make Budweiser?

How's this? I'm a big fan of single barrel. Iv never seen this anywhere
Hi Colt250,

Unfortunately, I can answer that. Let me make one thing clear: I absolutely love Knob Creek. It's one of my very favorite bourbons. Even so...you know how the maple syrup at Perkins tastes? Right. Imagine mixing that stuff with a bunch of otherwise perfectly good bourbon at a 1-1 ratio (or thereabouts). It really is that unbearably sweet. I couldn't even taste the bourbon at all, it was so bad.

I'd say pass on this one.

Yours,

David

I'd do the Crown Royal Maple if you want a Maple Whiskey---that is definitely a Whiskey with a Maple flavor, not a syrup.

Thats called a black and tan

Negative Ghostrider.

A Black and Tan is half Guinness and half Bass. It should never be ordered in a truly Irish bar as Bass is English. Black and Tan was also the name of British soldiers, who after returning from WW I, went to Ireland to help the Royal Irish Constabulary fight the IRB and IRA. They wore a mix of lighter army uniforms and darker police uniforms hence the nickname Black and Tan.

If you don't believe me you could test my grasp of history by going to the Southie section of Boston, going into a small Irish bar, sit at the bar (right next to the bucket of money labeled "IRA Relief Fund") and order a Black and Tan. At best they'll laugh at worst...well....they won't be laughing.
