What are you listening to?

Not the first time I've posted this cat, don't think I've posted this song

The first time I heard him ( 5-6 yr ago) , I was hooked.
He can go from mellow , to outright " damn " that was badass.

To the guitarist up in hear....... help me out with the chords on this one, mainly chorus ,please.
I have some of his songs roughed in .....just need to " clean them up", which is hard to do with arthritic and gout hampered fingers.

One thing for sure … we both have great taste in music 🙂 👍
I plan on seeing Joscho in 2025. I’ve been a student of the guitar my whole life , listened to most everyone but I’m thinking he is a really special guitarist.
Throw in Richard Smith 👍
Matteo ain’t no slouch !

Yeah guitar is one of my favorite hobbies.
The video I posted of “I Didn’t Realize” is the Western Flyers. Joey McKenzie the guitarist is my mentor. Been trying to to learn the swing/Western swing genre for years. I’m strictly a rhythm guy. Can’t play lead for shit😂

This is my 1948 Gibson L48

Cool !!
I grew up listening to Bob Wills when we lived in New Mexico . My Mom had a station in Lubbock TX that played Country and Western …morning to night. We didn’t have a TV , radio was plenty !
The Western Flyers are really good 👍

Bob Wills. Joey McKenzie is an amazing Bob Wills historian. He and his wife Sherrie are keeping the Wills legacy alive. They are friends with Bob’s daughter.

A friend of mine’s uncle was Cameron Hill that played guitar with Bob Wills in the early 40s. It was the guitar duo of Cameron Hill and Jimmy Wible. My friend has Cameron’s 1941 Epiphone Emperor that he used while playing with Bob. This is Joey playing that guitar.

More Bob Wills...

This is the movie that the previous video was from, starring Glen Ford, Penny Singleton and Ann Miller. BTW, Ann Miller was only 18 when this movie was released which means that she was probably 17 when it was filmed. If you haven't seen it and like old movies, this one is a classic.

During WWII they said that Betty Grable was the #1 pinup girl because of her legs. IMHO, Ann Miller had the better looking legs.

Dream Theater's newest album "Parasomnia" released yesterday. One of my favorite tracks so far. Night Terror being the first.
Got tickets in hand for their Seattle show stop on tour at the end of the month. 😁
