Join contestHas anyone used sponges to apply paint. I'm thinking of doing a camo pattern on a Boyd's tacticool stock. I plan using khaki for the base coat and then using black, green, and brown with the sponges.
Any one have a step by step on an effective way to camo a gun? Thanks in advance.
I'm no expert, but here sort of a step by step I recently did:

yup, pretty much like you're thinking. I need to frost the scope turrets a bit to blend them
It's pretty easy
This guy explains it well http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_19/321800_Sponge_Camo_Tutorial.html
