Wondering what you all bring to the range and any tips you have for packing / hauling all the stuff. I’m working on getting some good data and being able to do everything analog; here is my current load out top to bottom, left to right:
1. Midway USA Mat
2. Magnetospeed V3
3. Ammo
4. Game Changer, Sticky
5. Precision Underground 3D ELR, Heavy
6. SAP Run N’ Gun
7. Gunwerks BR2500 and Kestrel Elite 5700
8. Target Miester Wyatt Earp Target Stands, x2
9. Bag
10. PIGlite 0311 Tripod w/ Hog Saddle, direct mount
11. SLIK 824 CF Pro w/ Manfrotto 324RC2 Head and Leupold Mark 4 12-40x60 Spotter, TMR Reticle
12. Target bag with Staple Gun, Pasties and Various Targets
13. Borka Tool Kit w/ Additional Tools and Batteries
14. SAIN Field Cleaning Kit
15. Impact Data Book
16. MSR Sordin’s
17. Oakley Eye Pro
18. Nightforce Optic Cleaning kit
Notes: I don’t typically use the tool kit, rifle cleaning kit or optic cleaning kit. They are more of a “oh shit” part of my kit. The range I belong to I have to bring my own targets. I split my time between working on data and drills (i.e. I break up getting chrono data, logging that and then do drills / work on different shooting positions and using the hog saddle).
I’m sure I’ll get flamed, but maybe I’ll learn something in the process.
