Yeah, everyone should own at least one AK 47 in 7.62x39. Prices are through the roof right now and keep on increasing. The best deal I have seen in a long time is this.

I know that's a lot of money but it will hold or increase in value, not fail you and last practically forever.
Well, like so many of you, I would like to return to the days of available firearms and ammunition. I recently purchased about 1,500 rounds of .22 lr, and had about 1,000 rounds on hand, but trying to locate and purchase this ammunition left me pretty frustrated. When I was a young lad, I would ride my bike down to K Mart to buy all my shooting needs. I sure do miss those days in many ways. So, I would ask Santa for 5,000 rounds of Lapua Center-X and some milder days to shoot my CZ 457 Varmint MTR. I would also like to wish all of my fellow "Hide members" Happy Holidays. Maybe someday I can buy about 50 acres of desert land north of Taos to set up a 300 yard range, and invite all of you out for a week of shooting.

What are normal/good prices for Center-X these days? And is it that much better than SK rifle match or long range match? Relatively speaking, as I’m shooting a T1X factory with a replacement trigger spring.

I'm playing with Envy Pro with the weights - so far I do like it, thinking about changing out the rear end.....not too crazy about it...
