I have a mint series 70 combat commander in 45 blued. Might not have ever been fired. I might do a local sale to a guy from my club. What it worth?

Series 70 go for between 800-1300 dollars depending on condition and how many are on the market. 1000 would be a safe bet if he will pay it ask 1300

Anyone know if that trigger and/or mainspring housing are factory? I would imagine that it did not come with a short trigger and a flat mainspring housing, but perhaps may have come with one or the other (perhaps the short trigger is original and it came with an arched MSH).

Not a big deal to switch either one out, but definitely a red flag to see that combination, unless they were actually available that way (which I doubt, but others know them better than I do).

I have a .38 Super Series 70 Combat Commander, no box and no papers in that exact same configuration. I paid around 1k for it. Serial Number on mine is within 3000 of that one.

Thanks for the info. No box and papers. Yes I know I haven't seen any with the flat msh. I got it from a pretty old guy I can't see him changing it out but u never know.

It appears to have a different backstrap,(ie.) the loop at the rear of the magazine. The picture of the left hand of the slide is unclear. Is it a commander,or a combat commander, there is a difference? Otherwise it looks in good shape, value is what someone will be willing to pay for it,contact me if you are a willing seller.
