What happened to the male species in the USA. I see more feminine, metro sexual men than ever. Hipsters, is that the new way to say I am a flaming quiche pie. TV programing, news, is saturated with soft little spineless princesses. Is this where we are headed??
I grew up on a dairy farm. We never had much tolerance for feminine men and to be honest I was never subject to many. We would not disrespect or insult them, we just chose not to be around them.
Now it seems that everywhere I go, every night on TV it is the norm.

What happened to us????? It seems like there are now more Elton Johns than John Wayne's. I just shake my head in wonder and disappointment.

Everyone is equal, and if not the government will do their best to enact a law to make it seem like they are. Okay, everyone is not actually equal. It used to be that the "Golden Rule" was something that would make society better, now the inverse has occurred...everyone to the lowest common denominator with a nice frosting of self-indulgence on top. "Technology" makes us soft, "equality" makes us soft, socialist policies make us soft. The "us" there is the country, not the individual.

The rugged individual is now seen as a threat to American society instead of the backbone that created this amazing country. The very young men that would have normally been out in woods hunting/fishing/ shooting/drinking daddy's beer/ smoking a cigarette-then getting sick/ etc. are now zombie like, computer game playing girlie men. I am in total agreement with you on all of it. I have a daughter so I am extra aware of what I see young girls doing that didnt have a strong father. Seen it in boys, just as bad.
