In the SHcom Scopes Forum . All topics from 12:17 AM to 12:51 AM .. 1st and into the 2nd page, turned and all looks like Chinese ?

Meanwhile site performance has been bad enough to give up on numerous times in the past few weeks (as in server errors, or 5-10 seconds and still no page loads).
Not sure if any misc DOS/script kiddie attacks are ongoing, but the site approaches unusability at least a few times per week over the past few weeks for me..

i on ( west coast time ) . it been pretty sluggish and mucho mas Lag on the site loading and page loading over here at times .

I ( would guess ? ) the SHcom traffic growing fast for Frank since the Scout defunct and move back . this and .. plus the never-ending onslaught scourge of malicious Chinese hacking . It could be a fucking Advil popping headache and job at times .

Missed the China debacle but for the past few weeks, hit and miss the site takes forever to load. Thought it was only me but I see now that others have had the same issue.

speak of the devil .. I got a PM and the site crashed twice on me as I tried to send . had to X-out and try back .
It is peak time though @ 5:30 PM here . and 9:30 eastern with being Sat. night .

Ok...I thought I was going crazy, some messed up stuff, but seems back to norm today.

They will fix the loading problems, an upgrade was done last night, probably about the same time the chinese hit the place

But we will have the loading problems addressed or I am moving servers,

As I noted in other posts, the site is being worked on, the front pages first and then the forum, in the meantime we'll work on the server

Glad I read this thread first, as I was going to me tion the load times and timing out issue. I assumed it was just due to heavy traffic, as the times it happens seem to be when lots of folks are home from work, etc.

Thanks for keeping a look out, Frank (and everybody else who puts up with all the shenanigans here)!
