What in the actual Fuck!!??

Why are the Police kneeling on necks? After the Floyd case, you'd think all department's would be a bit more cautious on control maneuvers involving a person's neck and airway. And no body cam's, how convenient.

His family says? I can't read the article but the head lines indicate the FAMILY said these things? I wonder if they were there to see this? If not, how did they get this information?
His sister and mother were both there. His mother started recording video on her phone when she realized he stopped breathing. And he was already cuffed. 2 officers, one on his neck, the other on his legs, while he was cuffed. Either a lie by the family or abuse. I'm sure the autopsy would have proved how he died. No mention of that in the article.

Holy F! IF this is true, prepare for the riots and burning's all over again. More info needed, but, have not L.E. learned anything?? I do know, if I was still a C.O., with all that's gone on, I'd have that little man in the back of my head, scream'n. Mac

Floyd died from an overdose. His death had nothing to do with the way he was retrained. The very small portion of the video was released along with a false narrative he was suffocated during restraint. It was released and edited purposefully to get a reaction. The same thing they did when claiming the capital hill officer that died was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher. Or the mean ole kid in washington picking on the native american Vietnam veteran. False story, false narrative, don't fall for it, don't spread it. There is always a reason the left hold back footage.

"Regardless of reason" That is a perfect phrase for the line of thought you are on here. George Floyd died from a drug overdose. The fact that his made up story "saw the light of day" and was used the way it was, is a problem. Thousands of people are restrained in that same manner and don't die. Pretty good evidence when someone does, it wasn't from the restraint. Huh?

'Mental health crisis' is an EXTREMELY tricky set of situations which encompasses drug overdoses too. Many mental health calls have been triggered by drug use... Even without drugs involved, a person suffering from a mental episode is already pushing their physical health beyond limits. They are likely extremely agitated, with high blood pressure, rapid heart rates, and other conditions during the episode that can all lead to fatal consequences if they continue to get even more triggered by aggressive stimuli, such as flashing emergency lights and emergency personnel trying to restrain them...

Recent arrest/holding cell deaths, not counting actual drug overdoses, have been found to be cardiac arrest and heart attacks.

It is crazy how fast someone with mental issues can ramp up. When they have a behavior and lash out their heart beat goes from normal to very fast instantly. It is kin to a panic attack, if not the same thing. I had a nonverbal 4 year old start to have one the other day. He always wants to sit in my lap, but I turn him around and make him stand because I want him to see my face. So I touch his chest and back and tell him no, turn around. He started to have a behvoiur one day when I did this, and I could instantly feel his heart start beating million miles an hour.

George Floyd died from a drug overdose.

"A full autopsy report on George Floyd, the man who died after being restrained by Minneapolis police last month, reveals that he was positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19." (NPR news site)

So, do you think this motherfucker is listed somewhere as one of the 500K COVID deaths in the USA....at the same time they are prosecuting the cops for killing him? Hmmm? :ROFLMAO:;)

Is it wrong for me to assume "mental health crisis" means drug overdose?
Yeah.
I have either been on a lot of psych calls or taken them in when delivered by EMS.
I have seen hundreds, if not thousands and tons of them have a clean UTOX.

Mental Health is serious stuff. Huge for vets who the govt is actively screwing out of decent VA care for them.
yet I know piles of stories of people getting financial benefits for PTSD who openly admit they are gaming the system.

It’s not about airway. There are two large Arteries in the neck, one on each side. Cut those off long enough and the person will die, not getting enough oxygen to the brain. Someone can survive a windpipe choke for a while. Cut those arteries properly, and they’ll die pretty quickly. This is how people get nocked out in a choke, don’t worry about the throat. Use each side of your arm to squeeze the neck, and they’ll be out soon.
