One of the downsides of technology is that now, with YouTube and Instagram, ANY person can be famous. If they are willing to be bizarre and unconventional enough. Problem is, fame attracts trouble. And a lot of these kids are too naive to understand just what kind of fucking sadistic, despicable, and outright twisted monsters that exist in the same world that we live in. When my #2 son was in 2nd or 3rd grade his teacher told my wife that our son needed adhd drugs .
He was acting like a boy . I asked her if she was a medical doctor ?
She said no . So I asked her . Why are you qualified to make a diagnoses and make recommendation to my wife and I .
She said , she took a seminar .
I laughed and said I wouldn't be putting my son on any kind of speed on her recommendation or any doctors.
That teacher was hard to get a solid answer from on anything . Except that most boys needed to be medicated for ADHD .
She was his worst teacher in grade school. Next year he had a firm handed teacher who understood how to control her class room .
So teachers are pushing drugs on to boys. I know several other parents who had the same story .

When we stood up to them in the principals Office, they put him on a long road of intimidation and finally, expulsion. He lives with us, has no HS diploma, and finding employment or enlistment is a Hell for him.

Turns out she was just another poorly educated mass produced liberal.
All she knew how to due was teach to the lowest common denominator in the class.

She wanted to give him an F for not showing his work, accused him of cheating.

I'm not an organized religious type of person, but think (obviously with some checks and balances in place) that the churches would likely do a pretty good job of running the asylums for the mentally challenged. It is part of the Judeo-Christian calling after all (taking care of the sick and dying)...

For all the bad press that the churches get lately, they perform overwhelmingly more good than most organizations these days.

Just a thought; since we'd need someone driven by morality, not money or power, to administer to our mentally ill.
