I had a TRG that had a LOOOOOONG throat. Factory Black hills ammo had them jumping them almost 1/4" and they still shot 1/2MOA and better. SMK's are very "jump tolerant". From my experience with other chamberings I would jump them about around 20 to 30 thousandths of an inch.

i shoot a rem 700 pss 300 wm. using a hornady lock and load and the sinclair hexagon ogive gage, using 190 smk i measured my ogive touches the lands 2.974 plus or minus .002. my best load to date is 71 grains of rl 22. i load this with my ogive at 2.898". so i jump around .074". if i do my part its around half inch. and it fits in my mag. good luck

one is restricted to magazine length ...and the stock barrels with match kings do well with the jump
