About to buy a rangefinder so I thought I’d get the hides opinion before doing so.
I don’t have a kestrel and don’t plan on getting one so I don’t care about connectivity other than to my phone for apps. I’ve had the bushnell fusion mile binoculars and they worked well for my purposes other than being bulky and heavy.
The main use will be on steel out to 1200 yards and for ranging deer and coyotes out to about 600 yards.
I can get a really good deal on the sig kilo bdx 2200’s and 2400’s.
My main questions are:
(1) is there anything in this price range that will outperform the sig kilo. I’d like to keep the price as low as possible.
(2) How substantial of an upgrade is the software in the 2400 vs 2200 sig kilo bdx.
