Just curious as to thoughts on what reamer I should use and why for a 300WM build. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to a longer throat or tighter chamber for my purposes?

Barrel is a Rock Creek 5R 1:10 twist and will be cut to 26"

I plan on using 208 A-Max, 210SMk's and 220SMK's and shooting out to about 1200 yards

Thanks...That was my intent but was curious if I should be looking at something different or not with using longer bullets or for accuracy

I miss read thread sorry, You're probably going to want to get a Minimum Spec SAAMI Chamber for the .330 WM then, and check with a smith about the throat length.

If you're going to buy a reamer, why not have it custom made to your sizing die and chosen brass and bullet? Choose the brass and bullet you want to use. Have someone a few rounds of brass a few times each to blow them out. Then re-size them with the FL die you plan to use, setting the shoulder back only 0.001". Then make a dud with the bullet you plan to use seated at the depth you want. Send a few samples of them to Dave Kiff and have him make a reamer that matches that setup in the best possible way, incorporating whatever fit and bullet jump you want.
