Loading for accurate .308 Tactical work and not sure what dies to get. Have never reloaded and just bought an RCBS Rockchucker Deluxe. When looking through catalogues there are too many variations, ie... bushing, resizing, neck dies..? Which ones do I get? This is just for accurate .308, starting with new brass to load and then refired so the 1st will be fire formed. Help!

Re: what redding dies to buy?

Yes there is a lot of variety. That is due to a lot of personal preference in loading techniques. My preference is to full length size every time with a couple thou shoulder bump. This can be done with the standard fl die or the bushing die if you have the time/money to invest in it. Then seat with a competition micrometer seating die.

Standard fl die: 173-823
Type S Bushing die: 668-734
Competition seater: 200-390

^^^ These are the part numbers from Redding.
