Rifle Scopes What scope..

So, I had a bushnell dmr 2 on my 6.5cm and liked everything about it except the weight. The rifle is a mixture of hunting 60% and fun/steel 40% of the time. Is there anything out there similar to a dmr 2 in price and performance, but slightly lighter in weight and a 50mm objective/30mm main tube? Before I bought another dmr 2 (sellers remorse), thought I'd weigh the options. I'm not a fan of athlon, so no need to recommend.

Nightforce NX8. Goes for quite a bit more coin though. Bushnell Forge or Vortex PST Gen 2 are if you are not a glass snob lol

There are good things coming as Bill pointed out.

However, there are also good things that have already been released. Element Nexus 5-20x50 and Tract Toric UHD 4-20x50should be on your list.

Id love a nx8, but a little out of budget. How about the shv? Any experience with it?

My first nightforce was a shv 5-20. Very happy with it. My dad has the 3-10 on his fierce 6.5 creed and is very happy as well. Put a 390” bull elk on his wall with that combo.
