What supplies for Wuhan Virus?

Wash hands or alcohol based hand sanitizer
Any mask or barrier is better than nothing
If you feel a headache kick back with whiskey (Makers Mark or better) - add Coke if you’re into that unless it’s really high end whiskey - then just drink straight up
If you really think it’s Wuhan virus listen to Wu Tang Clan while downing a forty of Old English 800

on the menu for the weekend....takeaway chinese, Outbreak, Contagion....what other 'viral videos' need adding to the list so i don't have to go through the rotten tomatoes bs.

Not even concerned. The number that have succumbed to the virus is less than a statical anomaly. Doubt this will end any more than the West Nile virus and other "lets panic the public for kicks" disease. The common cold will kill 1000s of times more this year than the coronavirus.

The only one that scares me is the Schlitz malt liquor virus.

Brown bottle flu.

Coronavirus would be the anti-scurvy, clear bottle flu

I guess you trust China and their numbers. We know they lie about GDP why would they tell the truth about this.

We have no idea how many have died on China

Actually glad we have a few here. So we can learn about it.

As for me, treat it like the flu. Same precautions if in public.
if you must be around someone known infected, you already know based on your employers policy on airborne precautions.

Hand sanitizer is partially effective at best against robust viruses and possible infection.

Real studies (not commercial or blogs) were conducted by the navy because of the confined environment, and ability to control subjects from outside influences.

Although soap and sanitizer had some effects depending, it was found the actual mechanical scrubbing of hands and body while under water “washed away” the virus.

The virus were still active depending on virus strain when the waste water was tested.

When hands were not scrubbed and flushed with water while using almost all regularly found “safe” soaps the virus were still found alive and active on the hands.

Recommendation was to sing happy birthday for approximate washing duration.

As said before, no touching face or wounds.

Eyes, nose, mouth are gateways to the body.

Some spicy food may help by increasing acid in digestive tract, killing “bug” if consumed.

The paper masks people are wearing are not really doing much. it well help with someone sneezing on your face or you touching you face inadvertently.

When using a mask most people do it incorrectly as well.
Once you put it on you can’t touch it again until you remove it.
If you do you are bringing containments close to you face.

But the eyes are the real problem.

I crunched the numbers earlier for my overly excitable prep or/survivalist group. About 3%, all of them in China where the cities of then quarantined and are on lock down. That's providing they are giving accurate numbers. I don't believe there has been a single fatality outside of China, but I could be mistaken.

Also judging by some of the things that I have seen on the EMS FB pages, like a woman just squatting and pooping out a baby in the streets... its not the most sanitary of places to live, but the town this started seems to be higher class.

Avoid Walmart.
This isn't a bad idea corona virus or not! :D But I will say that when they had that case of Ebola in Dallas I made it a point to bring my lunch to work. It's probably paranoia but the interstate I work next to (I-30) runs from Dallas to Little Rock so I just avoided the local eateries, gas stations, etc. Too many people coming and going. Why tilt the odds out of my favor?
